See this picture? It may look a caterpillar at Oscar Scherer State Park in Osprey, Florida. However, what this picture actually represents is the current state of my blog. It is in its growing stages before it will turn into... a fully developed product. Here is what I have in mind as of right now.

A Basic Start for Its Own Opening Day

In honor of baseball starting up, I want to share more details of the blog's direction. I'm figuring out who I want to collab with, as well as determining the formula to get my content distributed on the likes of TikTok and Instagram. Better yet, I have just got a new side-gig that would help me boost my resume. That is to volunteer with my church's social media presence, with the actual emphasis being on Facebook and Instagram. Also, there will be posters used through Canva. It will give me a glimpse to see what it's like to be the Social Media Manager of something. It's technically about getting the church on the map for the younger demographic. This was the case when the majority of congregates are much older. I'm helping out with the livestreaming for weekly sermons that are currently available on the church's website. That counts a big building block towards having the church reach its goal. Of course, this parallels my focus for my own reasons.

I Can Get a Meme for Promotion, But How?

Popular events, such as this one, are very much scattered in all media. They are all quite major carriers for newsjacking. But there is just one concern. It involves copyright and citing those things in a proper format. That way, I'm not going to get in trouble (See picture here, this is a reference to the Galactic Starcruiser attraction opening). It would make sense if I can actually be granted permission by a company/individual that owns the select content for acceptable use.

Sidenote:

I apologize for those that were greatly affected by the Will Smith slap, but the point of including that scene is to give you a preview for how I can interpret current events into promotion.

Sounding Off in the Comments

The last "current" event that I want to bring up is not something that has just happened but has been making a life of its own on platforms such as YouTube. That is the number of comments that are found as a way to get in on the fun.

Not all are negative or downright mocks of news coverage. They can be observed as ways to chime in on the fun and use certain scenes to apply them to various situations. Let's take this scene from Star Wars for example. It was originally from the prequel trilogy, but now, the scene has become so popular it has been applied in literally every setting. The vision that I have in mind is a distinct formula that is the next interactive way to get some fans involved. Retention has always been an important key to keep consumers engaged in a certain product, so it would be a grand idea to benefit from this opportunity.

YouTubers from all over would say a fitting sign-off at the end of their content. I'd like to leave you with a sign-off of my own...until next time.
